Aesthetics firm opens new clinic as part of 'exciting' expansion plans

A BEAUTY business based in Cleckheaton has opened a new branch in Leeds as part of its ambitious expansion plans.

Amica Aesthetics, based in Cross Crown Street, is run by Claire Raby, and has been open since 2015.

She has opened a new clinic based in Street Lane, Roundhay, and also hosts clinics in York, Manchester and Newcastle.

The clinic offers cosmetic and skin treatments, and Claire said since she could reopen last month demand has gone through the roof.

Ms Raby, 37, said: “The demand for bookings has been unreal!

“We are already fully booked for the first few weeks at both clinics. It’s such an exciting time for my team and I as we continue to grow and expand our services across Leeds”.

The opening was due last year but plans had to be shelved due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but Ms Raby used this time to find the “perfect location” and invest in the latest aesthetics technology.

And the investments and eye for detail have paid off, with 90 per cent of clients coming to Amica through recommendations from previous customers.

The new site in Roundhay has a different look to the Cleckheaton site, spread over two floors and has a “luxurious but contemporary feel”. It has also created five new full-time jobs, filled by highly experiences staff.

Ms Raby added there has been an increased interest in cosmetic procedures, and is hoping the new Leeds site is one of many in the future as she hopes to take Amica national.

She adds: “As a result of the pandemic and the popularity of zoom and virtual meetings people have become more aware of their facial features and how they look.

“As a result of this we have seen an enormous rise in demand for cosmetic procedures.

““My short-term goal is to open a clinic in every town and city in Yorkshire with the ultimate aim being to roll out nationally.”
