A POPULAR Aldi store at Allerton in Bradford is set to close to undergo a refurbishment.

Customers, however, will not have to wait long as the refurbishment is expected to take only a week before the store on Allerton Road reopens.

An Aldi spokesperson said: “We will close our Allerton Road store on Friday, May 14, at 8pm to carry out refurbishment works.

“When we reopen on Thursday, May 20, the store will be in our new layout, which ensures more space for fresh, chilled and food-to-go ranges.

“It will be much brighter with simpler layouts and wider aisles.

“We will keep the community updated on developments.”
