Armstrong Watson launches sector survey and asks ‘What Next for the Hospitality & Tourism Sector?’

Armstrong Watson LLP, Hospitality & Tourism Sector Accountants, Business and Financial Advisers have just launched a survey to help better understand how the industry has been supported by government measures, learn how businesses have adapted to current and continuing pressures, and build a picture of how the sector is likely to fair going forward.

They are asking operators across the country to share their views in an anonymous, 2 minute, multiple-choice survey, the results of which will be shared publicly to help support businesses within the sector.

Commenting on why Armstrong Watson decided to launch this survey, Richard Andrew, Armstrong Watson Head of Accountancy and Hospitality said,

“There’s no mistaking that the hospitality sector has been hard hit by the pandemic and the actions business owners take now may have long-lasting effects. We’ve supported a large number of clients throughout this period and it’s important to us to continue to understand how support measures have helped and build a clearer picture of what more is needed to see the sector through.

“We’re keen to learn how other businesses have adapted to current pressures and hopefully, by sharing this knowledge and insight, we can all put actions into place that will help the longevity and survival of those operating within the sector.”

Armstrong Watson would like to encourage any businesses that operate within the Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism Sector to take this short survey here: www.bit.ly/HLTyourviews

This ‘temperature check’ of the sector continues Armstrong Watson’s work within the sector during COVID-19; with a dedicated suite of information; a special support taskforce; regular communications to newsletter subscribers and a number of online events with an enviable line-up of tourism and hospitality guest panellists.
