When is TECH week?

Monday 19th October to the 23rd October in Schools, but will continue to all on YouTube and on Bradford Means Business until the end of the year

Who can participate in TECH week?

Anyone with internet access whether in education or not, the videos on this site and YouTube make TECH accessible to everyone

What is TECH week about?

It is about heightening the awareness of TECH as a potential employment route for both school leavers and those looking to retrain and/or change career direction

What is TECH week looking to achieve?

Tech week hopes to give the district a small insight into the roles in TECH, that TECH is a really important part of most companies and that it could be a great career choice

Who organised TECH week?

LOCALiQ (part of the T&A) and Exa Networks started us on this journey and then Bradford Council, the LEP and a number of leading Bradford TECH companies have helped us organise the event and the programme

Is TECH week all online?

Yes. This year, due to social distancing, all of the week is virtual and extended to allow lots of people to participate, we are hopeful that in 2021 we can add experiences into the programme too

Do I have to register to participate?

No. Most of the content can be viewed on Bradford Means Business and YouTube, with a few events taking place as part of the school week, having to be pre-registered

How can I be a partner in TECH week 2021?

The programme for 2021 will be bigger and better and we will start planning for the event in early January, to register your interest contact tim.rogers@localiq.co.uk

Can I follow TECH week online?

Yes. Go to LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok and the T&A website to find and follow the event as it happens.
