Google conference to be held in Bradford

A CONFERENCE for small and medium-sized businesses is being held in Bradford this month to help firms get the most out of Google.

Organised by the Government-backed Digital Enterprise programme, the event will take place at the Great Victoria Hotel in Bridge Street on Tuesday, February 19.

In the event, businesses will be helped to grow by upgrading their digital technology and skills, and showing them how to use Google to access business tools and benefits, many of which are completely free.

It will also cover how using YouTube and video marketing can help firms, and a question-answer session with digital experts will also be held.

Muz Mumtaz, head of the Digital Enterprise programme, which supports SMEs in the Leeds City Region, said: “Many SMEs are using just a fraction of Google’s powerful capabilities, and discovering exactly what a vast and largely untapped resource it actually is can be incredibly useful.

“Our Digital Knowledge Exchange events have become a go-to resource for insightful sessions on tech and they deliver practical tools for business.

“The events are a key part of our mission to ensure businesses in the Leeds City Region have the knowledge and the technology they need to succeed and grow. We expect tickets for this one to go fast, it’s definitely worth reserving a place and there is no cost involved.”
