A FURNITURE retailer has expanded its warehouse operations.
Bedkingdom has acquired a new 55,756 sq. ft facility in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
This move is part of the company’s strategy to broaden its furniture range.
Originally a specialist bed retailer, Bedkingdom is now competing across the wider furniture market.
The new warehouse is expected to improve logistics efficiency, increase stock capacity, and speed up fulfilment times for customers across the UK.
The expansion is in response to rising demand and the company’s aim to scale operations in line with its long-term vision.
Chief Operating Officer Levon Hall said the new facility provides the infrastructure needed to maintain growth.
Starting with a £400 investment in 2011, Bedkingdom now owns several furniture ranges and employs 49 people.
