Annette has worked as a journalist for nearly 40 years and has wide experience covering all aspects of news, including business, local government, courts and crime. She trained with the Westmorland Gazette in Kendal and went on to work as a senior reporter on several newspapers in the Leeds and Bradford area, including the Telegraph and Argus, the Ilkley Gazette and the Wharfedale Observer. She has also freelanced for national newspapers and magazines over a number of years.
