A CARE provider has expanded its services in West Yorkshire.
Alcedo Care has opened a new office in Bingley, expected to create around 50 jobs and increasing access to home and complex care services across the Bradford district.
The branch, which opened in early May, will support individuals in Bingley, Keighley, Shipley, Bradford, and surrounding areas.
It is part of the company’s wider investment in growth.
The office has the capacity to deliver up to 2,000 hours of care and currently supports 12 clients with a team of 35 carers.
Claire Culshaw, head of mobilisation at Alcedo Care, said: “It’s always exciting to expand and open a new office, and we’re delighted to be bringing our high-quality care services to people across Bingley, Bradford, and the surrounding communities.
“We are looking forward to connecting with local healthcare professionals, community organisations, and businesses, building strong relationships across the region and providing essential home care services to anyone who needs support to live safely and independently at home.”
Alcedo Care said the team is expected to grow further in the coming months as more clients and care professionals join.
The company already operates offices in Leeds and York.
It said the new office strengthens its presence in Yorkshire and forms part of its plan for continued growth across the region.
Services on offer include domiciliary care, nurse-led complex care, dementia care, live-in care, and support for adults and children with a variety of care needs.
Alcedo Care is currently recruiting for additional carers.
It describes itself as one of the UK’s highest-rated providers of home care.
