A clinic has created two new part-time jobs after being awarded nearly £10,000 to support its relocation and expansion.
Yorkshire Podiatry, now based at 9-10 Arndale Shopping Centre, used the £9,237 grant from the Shipley Towns Fund to set up two additional treatment rooms, helping to shorten waiting times and introduce new services.
The grant also covered new podiatry equipment and the refurbishment of the new clinic space.
Managing director Sarah Booth said: “We were supported by a growth manager from Bradford Council throughout the application process for the grants.
“We’re delighted that our investment meant we could not only increase the team but also increase our offer to our customers and continue to ensure they have access to the very best treatment plans and the best experience when they come to see us.”
The clinic has grown from three employees to five as a result.
It also received a £5,472 Shipley Shopfronts grant to replace its old shopfront, including new internal roller shutters for added security.
