BAILDON-based ACS Group has unveiled global adventurer and environmental campaigner Nick Hollis as its brand ambassador.
This is the business services and supplies company’s first partnership of this kind and will support the group’s environmental practices to meet its sustainability strategy.
Nick Hollis is a renowned mountaineer and has 15 years’ corporate management experience. He will apply his professional and adventurer experiences to provide advice and guidance to enable ACS Group to achieve its sustainability goals.
The partnership will also see the ACS Group support the 721 challenge, a Guinness World Record attempt by Nick to raise awareness and money for the conservation of the world’s rainforests.
The Challenge will see Nick climb the seven summits, ski the North and South poles and row the Atlantic Ocean in world record speed. He has already climbed the highest mountain on every continent, completing the seven summits, and completed the South Pole.
He now has two more challenges to go in his race. When he’s finished, he’ll be the fourth British person to have ever completed the three poles, which includes Mount Everest.
The 721 challenge is also supporting schools to protect the rainforest through the work of the World Land Trust conservation charity.
