Steeton AFC have announced the launch of their new campaign, “Behind The Badge”, as they get set to host a business and sponsorship evening on April 2 at Steeton Hall.
The evening will feature current Bantams CEO Ryan Sparks, and former City chief operating officer James Mason, as they act as guest speakers.
“Behind The Badge” an initiative designed to encourage local businesses to join Steeton’s journey, as they continue to grow the club both on and off the field.
Steeton were an amateur football club for decades, but turned semi-professional in 2018 with a move into the North West Counties Football League.
But that step up has brought its own challenges, with that a big factor behind Steeton’s new campaign launch.
In a club statement, they wrote: “For the club to develop and thrive, it is essential that we engage more business leaders to work alongside us — sharing knowledge, skills, and experience to help strengthen our foundations and build for the future.
“A successful non-league football club plays a vital role within its community.
“Beyond providing football opportunities for talented local players, it creates meaningful involvement off the pitch.
