Bradford business wins top award two years in a row

STAFF at a Bradford business are celebrating after winning a top award.

Keep It Cool – based on Roydsdale Way within the Euroway Industrial Estate, just off the M606 – was awarded the title of Refrigerated Courier of the Year for the second year in a row at the prestigious TCS&D Awards in Birmingham.

The TCS&D Awards recognise companies which have made a difference in temperature-controlled storage and distribution.

As well as holding on to the Refrigerated Courier of the Year title, Keep It Cool and its MD Nikki Redhead were shortlisted in two other categories – Customer Service and Inspirational Woman of the Year.

After the awards win, Nikki said: “I can’t believe we’ve won this national award two years in a row.

“I’m truly proud to bring the trophy back to Yorkshire.”

Keep It Cool has recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary.

Despite operating in the male-dominated transport industry, the company is proudly female-owned and led, and Nikki, of East Morton, juggles running her multi-million pound business with raising a young family.

Keep It Cool specialises in same day and emergency deliveries.

It is a 24/7 operation with a 30-strong team.
