Bradford concrete firm expands business by welcoming new customers

A Bradford-based concrete admixture specialist has integrated customers from a glassfibre reinforced concrete (GRC) firm.

Oscrete has welcomed the clients of GRC specialist Cemcotec as part of its ongoing growth strategy.

The move follows Oscrete’s recent acquisition of structural waterproofing company PUDLO, marking another milestone in its expansion plans.

Scott Wilson, director at Oscrete, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Cemcotec’s customers into the Oscrete family in a move which not only strengthens our business but also enhances the level of service and technical support we can offer.”

Graham T Gilbert, founder of Cemcotec and a GRC specialist, continues to provide consultancy to GRC manufacturers.

He said: “Having spent more than 50 years in the sector, I wanted a company which could build on these milestones and achievements and provide my customers with additional benefits and expertise.

“Oscrete meets these requirements with their range of concrete additives, full warehousing and logistics network plus excellent laboratory facilities.”

Oscrete, established in 1983, manufactures concrete admixtures for the precast and ready-mix concrete sectors, as well as mortars.

The company is known for its innovative construction products, which improve the performance and durability of concrete applications.

This latest integration supports Oscrete’s broader strategy to grow its technical capabilities and customer base.
