ASDA has officially unveiled its revamped Keighley store.

The Bingley Street site has been refurbished as part of a £12m region-wide store investment by the retailer.

Features of the upgrade include new lighting and signage, a revised layout and a fresh look to several departments.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by Keighley’s town mayor, Councillor Chris Herd.

Liz Evans, Asda’s chief commercial officer for retail and non-food, says: “We’re so excited to welcome customers into our new-look Keighley store, which has been upgraded as part of a £12 million investment across Yorkshire and nearby areas.

“Asda was founded in Yorkshire 60 years ago, so putting money back into our home patch really means a lot to us.

“We want our stores to feel fresh and be full of great value for families. This is just the start – we can’t wait to unveil more upgraded Yorkshire stores over coming weeks.”
