RESTAURANTS across the Bradford district have been urged to sign up for a monthly fundraising event backed by the Lord Mayor.

The Lord Mayor’s Dining Club will be held in Bradford on a monthly basis.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Gerry Barker, is inviting restaurants from across the Bradford district to become involved and support the Lord Mayor by hosting an event. He has represented the Wharfedale ward since 2014 and was appointed to the civic role last month.

This year, the Lord Mayor of Bradford is also launching the dining club awards, which will be voted for at each event by attendees.

The dining club awards will take place in April 2024.

The first dining club event took place at Bangkok Thai restaurant in Little Germany on June 27.

A fundraising raffle that also takes place at each event.

All profits go towards the Lord Mayor’s chosen charity, The Cinderella Club, which has been helping underprivileged children in the Bradford district for 125 years.
