Calbee UK expands foodservice team with new appointment

CALBEE UK has expanded its foodservice team with a new appointment.

The UK snacks manufacturer, which owns Seabrook Crisps and employs more than 250 people across its Bradford and Deeside sites, has named Hannah Wakeford as its new national account manager.

In her new role, Ms Wakeford will focus on commercial strategy and relationship building to support the company’s foodservice growth.

Chris Goodman, head of wholesale, foodservice, and symbols at Calbee Group UK, said: “We are very pleased to announce Hannah’s appointment to the team.

“With years of experience in grocery retail, we know that she will be a real asset to us, bringing fresh, new ideas and an approach which very much supports our challenger brand positioning.

“We have some really exciting plans for 2026, so having Hannah on board to communicate this with our customers and prospects is great.”

Calbee UK is owned by Calbee Inc., the number one manufacturer of snacks in Japan.
