Ray Chapman Motors beats thousands for top award

A CAR dealership with a showroom in Bradford has won a national award for its customer service skills. 

Ray Chapman Motors beat competition from around 13,500 UK automotive retailers to collect the Customer Experience gong at the 16th annual Auto Trader Retailer Awards.

This year, around 1,500 of Auto Trader’s best-performing retailer partners were shortlisted to just 63 finalists.

These were split across nine different award categories and just 22 of the finalists were crowned winners. 

This was determined by a combination of in-depth analysis of millions of data points, independent judging by a panel of experts, and the results from the UK’s largest consumer mystery shopping programme among auto retailers.

Duncan Chapman, managing director at Ray Chapman Motors, said: “Winning the Customer Experience award is of great importance to us as we have spent many years developing a company culture that is centred around customer satisfaction.

“This is especially important today in the digital age, customers need to feel confident in our credibility which will hopefully result in loyalty to the brand and our company.”

Earlier this month, Ray Chapman Motors opened its showroom on Canal Road after acquiring the Clive Brook Volvo businesses in Bradford and Huddersfield.
