People in Yorkshire are being asked to nominate a charity to receive a festive financial boost.
The Movement for Good Awards, run by Benefact Group, will give away £120,000 as part of its annual 12 Days of Giving Christmas campaign.
Ten charities will each receive £1,000 every day for 12 days, totalling 120 winners.
Mark Hews, group chief executive of Benefact Group, said: “We’re delighted to be giving away another £120,000 in valuable donations to causes around the country.
“We know that charities across the country are struggling, and for many the festive season is a critical time.
“We’re asking residents to take a few minutes of their time to nominate a cause they especially care about.”
The daily draws will take place on weekdays from December 1 to 16.
Last year, eight Yorkshire charities received £1,000 each through the scheme, including Ripon Men’s Shed, The Cellar Trust, Yorkshire Cat Rescue, and Sturge Weber UK.
Benefact Group, which is owned by a charity and donates all available profits to good causes, has given more than £250million to charities since 2014.
The public can nominate charities via an online form at www.movementforgood.com
Movement for Good is funded by EIO plc, part of Benefact Group.
