A Cleckheaton consultancy has been appointed to deliver a key part of a regional growth programme.
Howarths will lead the people and skills masterclasses for the West Yorkshire Good Growth Programme.
The programme is run by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and, to those who sign up, offers five “masterclass” sessions on the following topics: marketing, net zero, digitalisation, finance, and people and skills.
Gavin Howarth, chief executive officer of Howarths, said: “To be chosen as the exclusive HR partner for the Good Growth Programme means a great deal to us.
“We love nothing more than helping businesses thrive, and this provides those involved with access to expert advice in a cost-effective way.”
Howarths will deliver four days of in-person support through its HR growth advisers, focusing on practical techniques which businesses can use to attract, retain, and develop talent.
The programme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and is delivered by Oxford Innovation Advice.
Businesses must have a turnover of at least £100,000, be trading for a minimum of 12 months, and demonstrate a clear ambition to grow in order to take part.
