THE courtyard of a new Bradford city centre market is hosting its first independent event this weekend.
The three-floor Darley Street Market opened with great fanfare earlier this month.
This weekend, the 3rd European Festival of Latvian Culture is taking place in the courtyard.
It started yesterday and will continue over the rest of the weekend.
A Bradford Council spokesperson said: “The Darley Street Market courtyard was buzzing on Friday as we welcomed the 3rd European Festival of Latvian Culture to the outdoor square for their food market, selling a wide-range of foods, groceries, clothing, drinks and much more.”
The festival will take place between 9am and 5pm today, and from 11am to 3pm tomorrow.
The spokesperson added: “The market is also open across three floors for all your lifestyle, fresh food and kitchen needs.”
