‘Dream’ realised as popular Bradford district dental firm moves into new home

A DENTAL firm has moved into new premises – realising ‘a dream’ for its owner.

Keighley-based Taylored Dental Care has relocated from its Cavendish Street practice, which had been home for 16 years, to a newly-renovated site.

The business is now based at the former Santoni restaurant, in Airedale Road – which has been fitted out with latest, state-of-the-art facilities.

An open day is to be held early in the new year to showcase the practice.

The move comes as the company celebrates more prestigious honours.

It won the Treatment of Nervous Patients (North) accolade at the Private Dentistry Awards for the second year running, and was highly commended in the Team of the Year category.

The judging panel was chaired by Dr James Goolnik.

The awards ceremony took place last month at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Those honours followed success at the Keighley & Airedale Business Awards in September, when Taylored Dental Care was crowned the Health & Wellbeing Business of the Year.

The firm was also named Practice of the Year (North East) at the Dentistry Awards, staged in Leicester, and there was recognition too for clinical dental technician Matthew Varley – he took the Clinical Dental Technician of the Year title.

Following the company’s Dentistry Awards success, a spokesperson said: “The team is absolutely over the moon to have won – we are so grateful to everyone who has supported us and to our wonderful patients.

“The team is dedicated to providing the best patient care, and to be recognised in the industry for that is something we are very proud of.”

Carl Taylor, owner of Taylored Dental Care, says: “It has been quite a year. We are excited to begin a new chapter with the opening of our Airedale Road premises.

“The new practice has been designed with nervous patients in mind. It features state-of-the-art facilities, calming surroundings and the latest pain-free technology.

“We offer a full range of private dental care, including general dentistry, cosmetic treatments, implants and dentures. A great deal of thought has gone into creating a practice that reflects the dentistry we provide.

“This has been a dream of mine for many years, so seeing it completed is very special.”

Mr Taylor trained to be a dentist in Leeds, starting in 1997.

After graduating he studied for a Royal College restorative dentistry diploma and trained in dental sedation and several orthodontic systems.

He founded Taylored Dental Care, which also has practices at Idle and Wibsey, 15 years ago.
