Business leaders in Yorkshire will have the chance to hear from top economic and governance experts later this year.
The Institute of Directors (IoD) is bringing its Better Director Series to Bradford this autumn with an event designed to help leaders navigate global uncertainty.
Titled Creating Certainty in an Uncertain World, the event will take place on Wednesday, October 8 at the University of Bradford’s Norcroft Centre.
Jonathan Geldart, director general at the IoD, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Yorkshire’s business community to come together, share ideas, and gain valuable insights into how to lead with confidence in uncertain times.
“Whether you’re navigating growth or managing change, this is your opportunity to learn from experts and exchange ideas with peers who understand the current challenges for business.”
The event will run from 5pm to 8.15pm.
It will focus on the West Yorkshire business community, offering guidance on governance, resilience, and forward planning.
Speakers include Anna Leach, chief economist at the IoD, and Dr Vikas Shah MBE DL, entrepreneur and non-executive board member of the UK Government’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
The panel will also feature experts in finance and policy, and will be chaired by Sarah Waddington CBE CDir.
