A Yorkshire charity partnership is helping to fund vital respite breaks for families in need.
The Principle Trust Children’s Charity has been raising funds through a partnership with two Yorkshire restaurants.
Treehouse Bar and Kitchen, which operates in Otley and Haworth, has been donating 25p from every children’s meal sold since April 2025, raising £580 so far.
Kerry Magson, partnerships and engagement manager at the Principle Trust, said: “We are extremely grateful to the wonderful teams at Treehouse Otley and Haworth for choosing to support our work.
“Their generosity will make a real and immediate difference to local families who need it most.
“Every children’s meal purchased directly helps vulnerable children experience joy and stability during challenging times.”
The funds raised are enough to fund a week-long, fully supported respite break for a Yorkshire family, complete with accommodation at one of the charity’s accessible respite homes and a complimentary food hamper to help them settle in.
