NEW organic soaps are set to get Brontë fans in a lather.

Classic works by Haworth’s literary siblings and other authors are being immortalised through Soap Poetry products.

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, and Emily’s Wuthering Heights, are amongst those featured.

Behind the range are Frances Burridge and husband John.

“I wanted to bring the words of great writers into daily life,” says Frances, the creative force behind the soaps’ designs and scents.

“Books have always been my inspiration.

“Each soap is inspired by a particular place or landscape, as well as the emotional world of the story, with scents chosen to reflect both the spirit of the novel and the natural world that shaped it.”

John is the artisan soap maker, crafting each bar by hand using traditional methods.

He says: “Every batch is carefully made to last, and be kind to the skin.

“We take pride in making something that’s as practical as it is beautiful and meaningful.”
