The African Business Forum, delivered by community interest company the Oak UK Initiative, will help to explore the various business opportunities available across the UK.
Councillor Martin Love is among the speakers and will be joined by Professor Paul Thorning – director of open innovation at the University of Bradford – and business coach and ex-professional rugby star Bolu Fagborun.
“The UK presents arguably the best environment to start and excel in entrepreneurship,” an Oak UK Initiative spokesperson said.
“The majority of international students are very much unaware of this huge opportunity.
“This event has been designed to demystify entrepreneurship and the opportunities in this country.
“The event is content and value-packed and features seasoned entrepreneurs.”
The event will take place at Park Lane Neighbourhood Centre, Park Lane, from 12pm on January 28.
Tickets are £10.
