A primary school has been gifted 45 laptops to help end the digital divide among schoolchildren.
Pupils at Primrose Hill Primary School in Pudsey will now be able to learn more information through refurbished second hand laptops.
It follows the success of the Computer for Schools initiative during the pandemic.
When the world shut down, gaps began to appear in home schooling for families with limited access to technology.
Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Pupils at Primrose Hill enjoy learning on laptops
Now, Nick Morrall, who works at Bradford-based Borg Warner, has worked alongside Pudsey councillor Simon Seary to gather more laptops.
They were supported by Next Generation IT’s Steven Lightfoot, who restored the laptops to optimal condition voluntarily.
Cllr Seary, a Conservative, said: “We are thrilled to witness the impact that can be made when local companies and community leaders join forces.
“The refurbished laptops will make a significant difference.
“We hope that this inspiring act of giving encourages other businesses to follow suit and contribute to the betterment of education within our community.”
