A restaurant has picked up a special award as a gamer changer in the curry industry.
LALA’s on Bradford Road in Pudsey was awarded the Platinum Game Changer prize at the fourth annual Bradford Curry Awards.
The accolade recognises those that have revolutionised the curry experience for their customers through innovative concepts.

Junior Rashid, from LALA’s restaurant, said: “To be acknowledged as a Game Changer in this dynamic industry, among industry pioneers and trailblazers who came before me, is an incredible privilege.
“I must also extend my gratitude to the esteemed panel of judges who saw something unique and transformative in my contributions.
“Finally, my heartfelt thanks to all our customers who give me and my team the motivation to push boundaries, challenge norms, and redefine what it means to be a curry connoisseur.”
The restaurant was presented with the special award at a ceremony held on July 10 at the Bradford Hotel in the city centre.
Founder and director of the Bradford Curry Awards, Fatima Patel said: “We always like to see what people are doing in the industry.
“Whether they are making a difference in terms of community or if they are doing something innovative with their plate. Hard work should be recognised regardless.”
