SANTANDER has confirmed it is bringing a banking hub service to Pudsey.
The sessions will take place between 10am and 5pm every Tuesday.
The location is listed as Pudsey Community Hub/Library.
People can get face-to-face support and no appointment is needed.
This service began on August 19.
Councillor Simon Seary (Pudsey, Conservative) said the regular session “is a welcome boost for residents following the closure of our local branch”.
He said: “We are pushing for more banks to follow and sign up.”
The banking giant said it was shutting 95 branches in June, while also cutting hours across 36 sites and switching 18 to be counter-free.
Santander said it will be left with 349 branches, down from 444 currently, after the overhaul, which will include five so-called work cafes.
