Smart platform helping Bradford brands take control of environmental impact

A smart platform is helping brands take control of their environmental impact.

E-halo, developed by Bradford-based Aura, provides real-time, item-level transparency across complex packaging portfolios to support sustainability goals.

The packaging consultancy won the Business Process accolade at the Stationers’ Innovation Excellence Awards 2025 for the platform.

Gillian Garside-Wight, director of consulting at Aura, said: “We’re ecstatic to see e-halo recognised.

“The platform started as an idea to help retailers get a clearer view of their packaging data, and it has evolved into a long-term sustainable packaging solution for retailers and brands all over the world, tracking everything from recyclability to carbon footprint.

“The Stationers’ Company has always championed innovation that moves industries forward, and that’s exactly what Aura is doing in packaging.”

E-halo was also highly commended in the Product Design category at the awards, which were held at Stationers’ Hall in London and celebrate progress across communications, publishing, and packaging innovation.
