Special event will give people chance to get tattooed while helping vital charity

A SPECIAL event will give Bradfordians the chance to get tattooed while helping a vital charity.

The Tattooathon day will be held at Willow Studio on Ashbourne Drive, Bolton, Bradford, between 9am and 9pm on July 26.

All proceeds from the tattoos done on the day will go directly to Andy’s Man Club, the suicide prevention charity for males.

Local tattoo artists will be donating their time and talent as part of the event.

Jorja Harris, owner of Willow Studio, said: “The Tattooathon at Willow Studio promises a day of creativity, connection and community spirit.

“Attendees can look forward to getting tattooed by talented artists, all while supporting a fantastic cause.

“With every design, we’re raising awareness for Andy’s Man Club, providing a platform for open conversations about mental health.

“It’s not just about tattoos – it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and support for those who need it most.”

Jorja added: “Andy’s Man Club plays a crucial role in breaking the silence around men’s mental health.

“The club provides a safe, non-judgmental space where men can open up, share their experiences and seek support.

“By encouraging these conversations, Andy’s Man Club is helping to reduce stigma, promote understanding and, ultimately, save lives.

“It’s vital that we continue to talk openly about mental health to ensure that everyone, regardless of gender, feels empowered to reach out when they need help.”

The Tattooathon will also include a raffle, music and refreshments.

Minimum donations on the day are £10.

People can walk into Willow Studio on the day, but for those who would like mor information or to book a slot, contact 07848805609 on WhatsApp.

Jorja added: “Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned ink lover, this event is the perfect opportunity to get tattooed while making a difference.

“Be part of something meaningful – because real strength is in talking, not suffering in silence.”
