Story of growth for fencing business that started out in back of car

A FENCING business which started out of the back of a car three years ago has shared its story of growth.

James Booth, founder of Post to Post Fencing, a garden renovation and fencing business based in Bingley, has spoken about how he started the business and the steps it has taken to achieve to reach a five-star rating on Facebook and Google.

He said: “After returning from a year in Australia in 2022, I started the company from scratch — quite literally out of the back of a car — with no funding, just a logo a friend helped me create and a Google profile.

“To get off the ground, I hand-delivered hundreds of leaflets to local areas and worked on word-of-mouth referrals, determined to provide the best possible service on every job.

“With support from my mum and friends, we’ve grown steadily over the past three years.

“Fast-forward to today, and Post to Post Fencing is now one of the most highly rated garden renovation companies in the area, with a perfect five-star rating across Facebook and Google.

“We now operate from a fully sign-written van and have sponsored our local grassroots football team, Saltaire Dynamos — a team I helped form and play for.”
