Third generation joins Bradford family business of nearly 50 years

A third generation is joining a family business in Bradford.

Charlie Watts, 18, has started as a trainee estate agent at Robert Watts Estate Agents, which was founded by his grandfather in 1979 and continues to be run by the family.

The firm has continued to grow over nearly five decades, blending family values with modern approaches to property services.

John Watts, Charlie’s father, said: “Welcoming Charlie into the business is a proud moment for all of us.

“It represents not only the continuation of our family legacy, but also our belief in the future.

“We always hoped one of our children would come to work with us, and Charlie brings with him a fresh, young perspective and enthusiasm that will serve our clients and our community for years to come.”

Charlie joins a company that has become a market leader in the Bradford and Kirklees areas, with a reputation built on trust, expertise, and service.

He said: “I feel very proud to be joining the business my granddad started.

“To now be part of the company is really exciting, and I’m looking forward to learning what it means to become an estate agent.”
