A new Chatty Cafe is launching in Bradford to help people connect and reduce loneliness.
The weekly scheme is coming to Bradford’s Darley Street Market through a partnership between the council and Age UK Bradford District.
The Darley Street Kitchen’s top-floor sofa area will host a Chatter & Natter table every Tuesday from 11am to midday, starting on January 27.
Mark Rounding, chief executive of Age UK Bradford District, said: “Reducing isolation and loneliness is a key aim of Age UK Bradford District, so the idea of organising these regular Chatty Cafe sessions is a positive step.”
A volunteer from Age UK Bradford District will be on hand to welcome anyone who wants to join.
