Shipley care training hub celebrates 15 years of service

A training centre in Shipley has marked 15 years with more than 1,000 care workers trained.

Czajka Care Group’s centre, opened in 2011, provides accredited training to both internal teams and external providers across Yorkshire.

The centre offers a range of courses including manual handling, safeguarding adults, infection control, first aid, health and safety, communication skills, and end-of-life care.

It also provides a four-day induction programme aligned to national care standards.

The centre, staffed by experienced care professionals, has seen growing demand for its services, with external bookings from care homes, community providers, and NHS teams forming a key part of its clientele.

The managing director of Czajka Care Group, Konrad Czajka, said: “Our training centre was originally created to support internal workforce development but quickly evolved into a regional resource.

“The fact that more than 1,000 care workers have now passed through our programmes reflects both the scale of demand and the ongoing need for high-quality, practical training in the sector.”
