A HEALTHCARE provider has named a new head of commercial sales as part of its latest plans for company growth.
Bradford-based Sovereign Health Care has appointed Luis Weston to the role, where he will lead the development of the organisation’s sales function and support its next phase of expansion, including entry into the intermediary market.
Mr Weston brings 20 years of experience in the health insurance and employee benefits sector, with a proven track record in intermediary, corporate, and direct distribution channels.
Neil McCallum, chief executive at Sovereign, said: “We believe in better health for everyone, and are ambitious about the impact we can have on our customers and the communities we serve.
“Appointing Luis is a key part of our strategy as we look to engage with intermediaries and the wider market.
“Luis brings significant commercial expertise to Sovereign and we are excited about the part he will play in our growth.”
Mr Weston previously held director and key account manager positions at Willis Towers Watson and Bupa UK.
“The organisation has a proud heritage, a strong customer proposition and a genuine commitment to improving access to everyday healthcare.”
