Housing Association receives diversity accreditation

HORTON Housing Association has been awarded the Housing Diversity Network (HDN) Accreditation – recognising its commitment to equality and inclusion.

Housing Diversity Network (HDN) said the Little Horton Lane-based provider engaged and empowered its customers, and praised it for its recruitment, as well as its work to help get volunteers into employment.

Paul Gartland, chief executive officer of Horton Housing, said: “We are delighted to receive this accreditation which reflects our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion within Horton.

“However, we are not complacent. There is always more work to be done to ensure that our organisation is a great place to work.

“We will now be looking at the recommendations within the report on areas where we can further improve.”
