Just the ticket! City announce new partnership with Ticketmaster

CITY have unveiled a business partnership with Ticketmaster to provide the club’s new ticketing operation.

The new long-term agreement begins ahead of next Tuesday’s visit from Forest Green with a new online platform including an interactive stadium map and facility for disabled fans to select seats and purchase tickets.

Supporters’ customer numbers will remain the same, though account activation will be required before the Forest Green game, with further details and communication to follow. City’s director of ticketing and supporter services, Marco Townson said: “Addressing the concerns raised by our supporters regarding our previous ticketing platform has been a top priority for us, and it is clear that a significant change is necessary to not only rectify these issues but also to enhance the overall ticket purchasing process.

“Our new partnership with Ticketmaster marks a pivotal moment in our journey towards making things more accessible and convenient for all our fans.

“We are extremely excited to introduce a state-of-the-art online ticketing platform that includes user-friendly features like an interactive stadium map and streamlined online purchasing for disabled supporters.

“Furthermore, we are embracing the digital age with the integration of digital ticketing solutions, such as Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.

“This not only modernises the way our supporters receive and store their tickets but also facilitates a smoother entry into the stadium, reducing queues, enhancing security, and promoting environmental sustainability by cutting down on paper waste.

“This combination of addressing past frustrations and embracing new technology demonstrates our commitment to innovation and our dedication to providing a seamless, efficient, and enjoyable experience for all Bradford City AFC supporters.”

Ticketmaster Sport managing director Chris Gratton added: “After spending time understanding the challenges and opportunities at Bradford City, we feel well-placed to bring our platforms and technologies to the club to support them in unlocking new ways to engage with supporters to drive higher engagement and long-term revenue growth.”
