Morrisons’ chocolate donation to spread Christmas cheer for Bradford’s homeless

MORRISONS supermarket has donated hundreds of chocolate bars to The Bradford Soup Run.

The donation is for the charity’s Sox ‘n’ Chox appeal, which asks supporters to donate chocolate and pairs of new socks to help those living on the streets.

Jamie Heath, operations manager at Morrisons, Victoria, Bradford said: “At this difficult time for many in the city we are more than happy to support the work of The Bradford Soup Run as they bring some seasonal cheer to Bradford’s homeless.

John Tempest, director of The Bradford Soup Run, said: “We very much appreciate this donation of hundreds of bars of chocolate for our annual Sox ‘n’ Chox campaign. We know they’ll be well received by those we meet on our soup runs. It’s an emotional food. Christmas can be an emotional time of year.”
