A DEVELOPMENT of three industrial units on the former car park of failed tourist attraction have been revealed.

Sir Robert Ogden Estates has submitted a planning application to build over 1,360 square metres of industrial buildings on empty land off Transperience Way, just off the Euroway Industrial Estate.

Transperience was an £11.5 million museum dedicated to passenger transport that opened in Low Moor in 1995.

The project was a failure, and shut just two years later.

Part of the site has since been re-developed as Low Moor Railway Station. Other areas were developed as an industrial estate.

The new application is for a car parking area of the attraction, and if approved would see the construction of two, two storey buildings, with one split into two units. There would also be parking for 35 cars.

Bradford Council are expected to make a decision on the plans in February.
