Car park in Bradford shortlisted for national award

A car park has been shortlisted for a national award.

The Broadway shopping centre’s car park in Bradford has been named a finalist at the British Parking Awards 2025, which celebrate excellence in parking design, management, and innovation.

Rob White, parking partnership manager at The Broadway, said: “At The Broadway, we believe that the parking experience should reflect our overall commitment to quality, inclusivity, and ease.

“To be recognised on a national stage is an incredible honour for our team and the wider Bradford community.”

The shortlisting recognises The Broadway’s investment in smart technologies, clear signage, and customer-focused services aimed at improving the experience for shoppers and visitors.

Mr White said the nomination follows recent industry recognition.

He said: “Earlier this year, our car parking facilities were the first in the area to achieve the prestigious Park Mark Plus award so for us to then hear that we’ve been shortlisted for the awards, further recognises the work we’ve done to enhance our facilities.”

Located in the city centre, the car park is considered a key part of Bradford’s wider regeneration ambitions.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony later this year.

Regardless of the outcome, The Broadway’s shortlisting highlights its role as a leader in modern parking standards.
