Brightly wrapped bus touring Bradford to promote world-famous prize

A brightly wrapped bus in Bradford is turning heads as it tours the streets.

Unveiled by First Bus, the bus is fully wrapped in Turner Prize 2025 branding, promoting the high-profile exhibition taking place at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery from September 27 until February 2026.

The bus, launched during a family day at Lister Park, is the third vehicle branded by First Bus to promote Bradford’s City of Culture year.

Kayleigh Ingham, commercial director of First Bus in North and West Yorkshire, said: “We’re thrilled to help highlight this internationally acclaimed arts prize and exhibition.

“It promises to draw in thousands of visitors to Bradford and we hope many will see bus travel as the obvious and sustainable choice to get there.

“We will be scheduling the Turner Prize 2025 bus to serve routes to Cartwright Hall Art Gallery.”

As part of its activity to support the family day at Lister Park, First Bus had readings on the bus of its Tinyfoot, and Evie’s Adventure to Tiny Street, children’s book.

Irene Kaali and Humaira Bham, members of the BBC’s New Voices of Bradford trio, read the story to parents and children, who received copies of the book and a soft toy of the bus character, Evie.
