Post Office to reopen nearly three years after closure

A BRADFORD Post Office is set to reopen under new management – nearly three years after it closed.

Princeville Post Office will reopen at Fieldhead Shopping Centre at noon on October 30.

The branch at the shopping centre closed in January 2023 due to the resignation of the postmaster.

Post Office area change manager, Tajinder Khehra, said: “We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted to soon be restoring service to this area of Bradford.

“The branch will be open daily and with much longer hours than before and with additional Post Office services.”

Princeville Post Office will be open between 9am and 8pm Monday to Saturday, and between noon and 6pm on Sunday.

A Post Office spokesperson said: “This will provide 72 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.

“This is an extra 32 hours of service than before including daily opening, all-day Sunday and Saturday afternoon, plus earlier opening and later closing.

“The same range of Post Office services as before will be available, plus there will also be travel money and Post Office Travel Money card added.”
