A Baildon-based facilities management and engineering services specialist has been acquired by a healthcare construction firm.
Elite Group has been bought by Cheshire-based MTX Contracts Ltd, which specialises in healthcare construction.
The acquisition, completed on November 28, 2025, is aimed at expanding support for healthcare clients and the wider NHS estate.
Daniel Bowman, who has worked at Elite for more than 16 years, has been appointed managing director.

Elite Group, which employs 45 people and has a turnover of £7.5 million, and is known for its technical expertise, proactive approach and client service.
MTX currently employs more than 85 people and has a turnover of £130 million.
MTX champions modern construction methods and offsite manufacturing to deliver hospital facilities that are “faster, greener, safer and more cost effectively.”
