Another retailer opens its doors with new store at Bradford shopping centre

A JEWELLERY business is set to become the latest retailer to open a store at a Bradford shopping centre.

Warren James will open a shop at The Broadway on Saturday, August 5.

The company, which has had a branch in the Kirkgate Centre in Bradford, opened its first branch in Stockport in 1979, by a brother/sister partnership who still own and manage the company.

It has now expanded to 225 shops across the country and is the largest independent jewellers in the United Kingdom.

Warren James also has branches across West Yorkshire including in Halifax, Wakefield and Leeds. Its site at The Broadway will open in the Charles Street Mall section of the business.

It becomes the latest name to take a unit at the city centre site, following in the footsteps of Muffin Break, Lids, Jack & Jones and Trespass.

Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, Bradford, confirmed the opening date of the new store.

He said: “I’m delighted to confirm that Warren James will be opening in The Broadway on Saturday, August 5 in the Charles Street Mall.

“At The Broadway, we’re committed to providing new and exciting retail experiences to the people of Bradford and the wider district.”
