A local cleaning business’s sponsorship deal has kitted out junior cricketers.

Undercliffe Cricket Club’s junior teams have received new branded cricket whites and caps, thanks to a partnership with exterior cleaning company Monty Miracle.

The scheme supports more than 70 young players across four teams.

Peter Beaumont, director at Monty Miracle, said: “Being here regularly to cheer on our nephew means we are always supporting the club and were delighted to step in when we heard about the junior teams all needing new kits.”

Based in Intake Road, the club welcomes young players from across Undercliffe, Moorside and Fagley.

Nick Suggie, Under 9s coach at Undercliffe Cricket Club, added: “Myself and all the youth coaches – and players – are very grateful for this boost.”

As a family-run business based in West Yorkshire, Monty Miracle also manufactures cleaning products that may help the club maintain its facilities.

The partnership arrives during the club’s 150th anniversary year.
