MORE details have emerged about a new store coming to a popular retail park.
Earlier this week, the Telegraph & Argus reported that signs had appeared for Footasylum on an empty unit, previously occupied by Home Bargains, at Bradford Forster Square.
It is located between Boots and Sports Direct on the side closest to the train station.
Forster Square spot will compliment Broadway store
Footasylum has now told the Telegraph & Argus that the new state-of-the-art store will complement its “hugely popular” spot at the Broadway shopping centre.
The retailers says it is rolling out “bigger and better stores across the UK” to meet “growing demand”.
Footasylum added that its new Bradford location will showcase our wide-ranging, on-trend collections and deliver first-class customer service”.
Retailer looking forward to new store opening
Shannon Osman, head of retail at Footasylum, said: “We’re delighted to be opening a new state-of-the-art store at Bradford Forster Square, which will complement our hugely popular location in the Broadway shopping centre.
“To meet growing demand, we are rolling out bigger and better stores across the UK, based on the blueprint of our Oxford Street flagship.
“This new space gives us the size and scale to showcase our wide-ranging, on-trend collections and deliver first-class customer service.

Footasylum history
The shoe shop was one of the first retailers to take up a unit at The Broadway when the shopping centre opened its doors nearly a decade ago in November 2015.
Footasylum had once been in the Kirkgate shopping centre.
It also has locations in Leeds city centre and the White Rose Shopping Centre.
According to its website, Footasylum was established back in 2005 and “has made a name for itself as one of the leading retailers of fashion streetwear and sportswear”.
It says: “Always on the lookout for new and upcoming brands, we’ve got our finger firmly on the pulse of the street and sports fashion scene.”
The retailer sells streetwear and activewear by the likes of Nike, adidas Originals, Jordan, Under Armour, Monterrain, The North Face, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Alessandro Zavetti.
