A credit union in Bradford has celebrated the success of the national campaign.
The Bradford District Credit Union (BDCU) said it was delighted with the results of Talk Money Week 2025, which ran from November 3-7.
Talk Money Week 2025 focused on the importance of starting conversations about money to improve confidence and financial security.
Katie Hurrell, CEO of BDCU, said: “Talking about money helps break down barriers, tackle stigma and build stronger communities and, at BDCU, we believe financial confidence starts with honest conversations – exactly what Talk Money Week is all about.
“Financial resilience starts with real conversations – and Talk Money Week 2025 was a great place to begin.”
To mark the week, BDCU launched new research in partnership with the University of York, highlighting the role of credit unions in supporting public health, local economies, and community resilience.
Events included campus roadshows at the University of Bradford and Bradford College, a community event in Kirklees, and a free webinar on financial harm delivered with West Yorkshire Police and Stop Loan Sharks England.
Talk Money Week also saw the relaunch of BDCU’s payroll partnership with Bradford Council and Bradford Children and Families Trust.
