A NEW business park is now complete, offering flexible hybrid workspace for growing enterprises.
Skipton Nano Park, located on the Snaygill Industrial Estate on the southern edge of the town, is the latest development from the Bradford-based Nano Park Company.
It brings together high-quality workshop and office space in one unit.
Edward Marshall, director of the Nano Park Company, said: “The astounding success of our ground-breaking Nano Parks in Bradford, Wakefield and Armley, which are completely full, has encouraged us to repeat the model elsewhere in Yorkshire.
“We are delighted that our Skipton development is now complete, bringing much-needed flexible hybrid business spaces to this popular area.
“As one of the only speculative developers building anything at the moment, we are sure we will see strong demand.
“These quality units are designed specifically for small trades, fledgling startups, and larger corporations requiring local satellite operations.”
The park includes five hybrid units of 1,760 sq ft each, split evenly between ground-floor workshop or storage space and first-floor office accommodation.
Each unit is equipped with roller-shutter access, air-source heat pumps, and gigabit-capable fibre broadband.
The development faced an 18-month delay due to complications with Northern Power Grid, but is now complete.
Jimmy Marshall, co-director of the Nano Park Company, said: “We are in the age of the entrepreneur, with more and more small and start-up companies looking for self-contained space of their own.
“We expect up to 50 jobs will be created on site, providing a timely boost to the city’s economy.

Previous Nano Parks in Bradford, Wakefield and Armley have all reached full occupancy, and a site in Huddersfield is currently underway.
The Skipton Nano Park sits on the A629 Keighley Road, just one mile south of the town centre.

Marketing for the site is being handled by Alastair McDowell of Ilkley-based Atkinson Associates.
The park is now complete and being marketed.
