A chemical company is set to test its emergency siren in Bradford on Thursday 4 December 2025.

Solenis, at Low Moor, will conduct the test-sounding at 10am and again at 8pm.

The siren, which will produce a sound of increasing and decreasing pitch, will operate for one minute on each occasion.

Residents are advised that no action is required upon hearing the siren, and emergency services have been informed of the test.

Residents living within the public information zone around the Solenis site were informed of the test via a leaflet earlier this year.

The test is being carried out as part of the company’s obligations under the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 2015.
