Duke describes visit to Bradford business as ‘thoroughly enjoyable’

A MEMBER of the Royal family has described his visit to a Bradford business as “thoroughly enjoyable”.

The Duke of Gloucester, Prince Richard – who is Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin and a full-time working member of the Royal family – was in Bradford last Friday.

While in the city, he officially launched the new IK School of Fine Tailoring, based at IK Collections on Westgate in Bradford city centre.

Established by IK owner Imran Khan, the school offers a 12-week programme of free tailoring lessons.

It covers sewing skills, pattern cutting, measurement taking – and much more.

Imran has now received a letter from the Duke’s representatives.

It said: “It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, and I know the Duke was delighted to meet so many friendly and enthusiastic people.”

The letter said it was an “interesting and memorable visit” and added: “The Duke of Gloucester sends you, and everyone at IK Collections, his warmest regards and wishes you well for the future.”

The IK School of Fine Tailoring will be holding an induction day at 1.30pm later today (Saturday), and anyone is invited to turn up to find out more.

People can also call IK Collections on 07525758025 to learn more about the IK School of Fine Tailoring.
